August Insider

Coding, New Openings This Month and Where To Take A Dip

Hi Insiders!

Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month!

I hope you’re all thriving and soaking up the sunshine! ☀️ This month's newsletter is short and sweet with some hot new openings to add to your list, the best places to take a dip across the capital, and as always, an event list to maximise what I hope is not the final month of summer.

But first, a quick update on how Babusi and I are getting on with the app! I’m pleased to say - we’re finally coding! We’re prioritising getting the core functionality right around creating personalised experiences and planning elements. Updates will follow around booking and other supporting features in upcoming app updates. We’re also prepping all the groundwork to dive into the world of securing pre-seed funding to show potential investors how AITINER is going to change the way we do things in London (and beyond). 🚀

So, keep an eye out on upcoming newsletters and also give our Instagram page some love as we amp up the content in the next few months and get things off the ground! 📸

To provide the most useful content to readers, we are looking to share area guides on the best food, activities, nightlife, and fitness spots across London. Email us at [email protected] with your favorite local spots and we’d love to give you a shoutout and feature you in our upcoming posts.

Latest openings: A Little Something For Everyone

One of the best things about living in this city is the array of new openings every month. Even if you think you’ve done it all, a hundred new places pop up to switch things up.

Here are a couple of things on our radar to check out this month.

Something doughy

It’s Bagels comes to Notting Hill. The Primrose Hill hotspots boasts lines that cross the road for Londoners and tourists eager to test the TikTok viral hotspot.

Something fancy

Ambassador’s Clubhouse opens up in Mayfair! The large space offers Punjab cuisine with a menu that includes kebabs (like the nalli chapli kebab), curries, biryanis, tandoor-roasted breads, and many more.

Something interactive

An all-day, late-night home for food and culture in the heart of Dalston, launching this August. The reimagined Dalston Yard will be a creative hub for a new generation of chefs, artists, musicians, and diners. We can’t wait to meet you.

Something for date night

The team behind Perilla brings you Morchella, best described as Perilla does mediterranean, just off Exmouth market. The road also boasts a few bars and pubs for a night cap post dinner, lit with beautiful fairy lights. Come on, romance is not dead!
